2025-01 NCARC Meeting Minutes

The January 9, 2025 meeting was called to order at 18:10 pm.

Minutes of previous meeting were read and a motion to accept passed.

Treasurer's report was read and dues collected.

Old Business

  • Constitution and By-Laws.

  • Constitution Article II, Section 4. Correct spelling of “membership”. By-Laws Section 3. Insert the word “normally” between “shall” and “be”.

  • Motion to accept as amended, maker KA2AUB, second N4TW. Passed unanimously.

  • Changes to the slate of officers was announced:

    • President WX2CIB
    • Vice President KA2AUB
    • Secretary AC2RH
    • Treasurer NR2V

  • There being no additional nominations, the slate was elected by acclamation.

  • 60 meter net – no report as KD2QLH was not here.

  • The MRSE on March 11 needs helpers.

Events and Nets from The Dummy Load

  • Jan 16 – OVARC lunch gathering, Cracker Barrel in Watertown, 11:30 am.
  • Mar 27 – Sky Warn training, Kellas 106, 6:00 pm.
  • The Rooster Roster meets at 07:30, 147.135 MHz, PL 151.4 (corrected time)

Other

  • WV2Z recommended we investigate setting up a swap/share net.
