2025-09 NCARC Meeting Minutes

The May meeting of the North Country Amateur Radio Club was called to order on May 8, 2025, at 1807 EST in the Potsdam Community Room by WX2CIB, David Pechey, Club President.

A roll was taken. There were 17 people in attendance.

Minutes from the previous meeting were read. There was a motion by KE2EMQ, Damon Jacobs, to accept, and a second by W2FCPl, Mike White. The vote was unanimous.

Virginia Reed, Club Treasurer, reported that the club funds were at $457, not including anything that may be collected that evening.

Old Business

  • K2CC Radio Club is on hold due to students finalizing the Spring semester. It was reported that there were a few students graduating.
  • Field Day 2025 - All was going well with preparations. KA2AUB, Matt Denney, Chairperson/Club Vice President, asked for volunteers to help. Ideas for food were discussed.
  • Club Logo - A couple of ideas were shown, and a discussion was held. New Business
  • NCARC Discord - WX2CIB, Dave gave a demonstration on how to use the new club Discord server.

Motion was made to adjourn at 1915 by KE2EMQ, Damon Jacobs, and seconded by KE2AXE, Allen Steen. The vote was unanimous.
