The 11/13/2025 meeting of the North Country Amateur Radio Club meeting was called to order by WX2CIB at 18:00L. The Pledge of Allegiance was said. The meeting was held at the Potsdam Community Room. There were 13 people in attendance.

Minutes from the previous 9/11/2025 meeting were read. Motion to accept as read/amended was made by NR2V. Seconded by KE3EMQ.

Treasurers Report: As of 11/13/2025, we have $460.

Old Business

  • Logo designs - In Process
  • Club banner - In Process
  • Ham Operators Brunch – Enjoyed by all. Suggestion for the next one should be lunch.
  • NCARC Holiday Dinner – 6 Dec 1700 – til
  • Lobster House – 95 S. Main St., Norwood
  • 1700 – Cocktail/social hour
  • 1730 – Order
  • Everyone is responsible for their own tab. Head count for reservation
  • Nominations Of Election of Officer - All officers will stay in office if it is determined.
  • Election of Officers - Tabled to next monthly meeting to check with AC2RH

New Business

  • Suggestion from N4TW for a presentation on new HF possibilities.
  • ARRL Year of the Club - Portable operation of W1AW. NY is the first week of January. It involves all modes, all bands.There will be another week later in the year. Possibly August?

  • ARRL SSB Sweepstakes - November 15-17
  • Vermont Ham-Con - February 28, 2026
