The 12 February 2026 meeting of the North Country Amateur Radio Club meeting was called to order by WX2CIB at 18:30L after discussions and social period. The meeting was held at the Potsdam Community Room. There were 17 members present, with 2 on Discord, people in attendance.

Minutes from the previous January meeting were read due to the December meeting canceled due to weather. A motion to accept as read/amended was made by KE2FKZ. Seconded by W2FCP.

Treasurers Report: As of 12 February 2026, we have $624.

Old Business

  • Logo designs - In Process
  • Club banner - In Process
  • ARRL Year of the Club - Portable operation of W1AW. NY is the first week of January. It involves all modes, all bands.There will be another week later in the year. 26 August 2026 - 1 September 2026. Please see an officer or W2FCP if you would like to use the NCARC callsign.
  • Ham Brunch @ St. Lawrence University - March 14th @ 11 AM

New Business

  • Field Day 2026 - June 27&28 Will form a committee with KE2FKZ & KA2AUB. Looking for recommendations for sites. Anyone else willing to help is GREATLY appreciated. KA2AUB is waiting to find out when he will have foot surgery and may not be able to participate.
