The 9 July 2026 meeting of the North Country Amateur Radio Club meeting was called to order by WX2CIB at 1830L. The meeting was held at the Potsdam Community Room. There were people in attendance. voting members present.

Minutes from the previous 11 June 2026 meeting were read.

Motion to accept as read/amended was made by NO9O. Seconded by KE2EMQ.

Treasurer's Report - There is no report.

President’s Report - Nothing to report

Vice President’s Report - Event ideas & Thank you from the SK’s (KC3RHR - Joe Petrulionis) wife.

Communications - Letter To Executive Committee

Old Business

Field Day - All enjoyed Field Day except for heat. Bands were not good, but 260 +/-. Lots of visitors from NNY Section, Red Cross, etc. W5CF motioned to send thank you letter to SUNY Canton & RJ Thayer. NO8O seconded.

W2LCA Trustee’s Report - WB2BAU has used the callsign for CW with the digital contest and SKCC. Mike is uploading logs to club logging.

New Business

Letter regarding an officer - Motion made by W2FCP to table the discussion and decision until next month. Seconded by NT4W.

Resignation of Secretary - Bob House has resigned as Secretary. Motion by KE2EMQ to have the President appoint someone until the next vote of officers in January. Second by KD2QQF. Carried by majority vote. W2FCP is now the Secretary until January.

W2FCP has purchased 2 Technician study guides for anyone wanting together their license. See an officer or W2FCP to borrow them.

Motion was made to adjourn the meeting by KE2EMQ and seconded by NT4W. Motion passed.
